FIFA will be hosting its annual Best Awards on Tuesday, December 16, at the Fairmont Hotel in Doha. The governing body of football will announce the best in men’s and women’s categories based on their performance in the calendar year. The award ceremony has been held since 2017 and announces different winners, among whom the Best Player award is regarded as the highlight of the night.
There will also be the best men’s and women’s all-star teams named. In addition to this, the FIFA Puskas Award and FIFA Marta Award for the most impressive goals scored in men’s and women’s football in 2025 will also be announced. The award ceremony can be watched live on the official sire of FIFA.
FIFA will also reveal the winners of the best coach, goalkeeper, and goals scored in both the men's and women's categories in 2025. FIFA president Gianni Infantino will be in attendance, and the world football governing body announces among categories.
FIFA has been organising the event for over three decades; however, the award function changed its name to the current titles in 2016, before it was known as the FIFA World Player of the Year. The ceremony will be followed by a gala dinner with 800 guests.
