Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 schedule: Date, time, live stream, and more

FIFA will be hosting its annual Best Awards after the World Cup draw earlier this month in Washington, D.C. FIFA president Gianni Infantino will be at the event, and the governing body of football will announce its opinion on different categories before it announces the best men’s and women’s players in 2025.

The ceremony has been hosted by FIFA for over three decades. The event was renamed to its current title in 2016, before it was known as the FIFA World Player of the Year. The award is organised to honor its finest players in the men’s and women’s categories based on their performance throughout the calendar year.

The ceremony will be followed by a gala dinner, which will be attended by 800 guests which including FIFA Council members, former players, and other representatives. Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr won the men’s award in 2024 while FC Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati took the women’s honor.
