Football fans in Chennai are in for a treat as some of Brazil’s most iconic players, including Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, and Cafu, are set to take on Indian legends in an exhibition match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on March 30th. The Brazilian Legends team will feature a host of football greats, many of whom were part of the 2002 World Cup-winning squad. Alongside Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, and Cafu, the team will include Gilberto Silva, Edmilson, Kleberson, Ricardo Oliveira, Cacapa, Camanducaia, Elivelton, Paulo Sergio, Heurelho Gomes, Diego Gil, Jorginho, Amaral, Lucio, Alex Ferro, Junior, Giovanni, Viola, and Marcelo. The team will be coached by Dunga, another Brazilian football legend.  

Indian All-Stars Ready to Shine  

The India-All Stars team will showcase some of the country’s most celebrated footballers. The lineup includes Mehtab Hossain, Alvito D’Cunha, Syed Rahim Nabi, Subhasish Roy Chowdhury, Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Shanmugam Venkatesh, Arnab Mondal, and Mahesh Gawli. These players have been instrumental in shaping Indian football and will look to make their mark against the Brazilian greats.

Rivaldo, who played a key role in Brazil’s 2002 World Cup triumph, expressed his excitement about the event. “I am coming to share an unforgettable experience.
