The Al Nassr forward believes it might happen anytime, as the Portuguese icon has stated that he can already imagine hanging up his boots in a shocking revelation. Ronaldo’s blockbuster interview with Piers Morgan has been taking over the interview, where he talked about several things, and the retirement discussion was one of those.

During his interview with Morgan, Ronaldo discussed that the difficult decision and the announcement might come soon since everything has to come to an end. He said: 

“Yes, I can imagine my retirement. It will be soon”.

The 40-year-old football superstar continued at the aforementioned interview: 

“But I will be prepared… it will be difficult, I will cry for sure! I think I will be prepared… everything has an end, so I will have more times for other things”.

Ronaldo is hurtling toward the magical figure of 1,000 career goals, and it might come soon, looking at the form of the goal machine. It can be expected that the Portugal international won't be hanging up his boots until he takes his tally into four figures.

The former Premier League forward has netted 950 goals, and it seems nothing can deny the player his 1000th goal. Ronaldo has been scoring one goal on average for Al Nassr, and if he continues to do so, the former Real Madrid star will fulfill this feat before 2026.
