Pep Guardiola makes big claim ahead of 2nd leg vs Real Madrid
Manchester City's boss, Pep Guardiola, interacted with reporters on Monday, where he admitted that the 2022-23 UCL winning team have to give their level best turn the tables in their favor.
Guardiola admitted that the challenge to score at least three goals against Real Madrid is going to be very huge.
"I have to admit the task is massive. To score more than three goals against Madrid is not easy," Guardiola told reporters on Monday.
Guardiola further said that the first leg result was disappointing but also noted that the game is still very open and they can make a comeback.
"The result in the first leg was not the perfect one but at the same time we are here. It's a football game, everything can happen.
"We have to create as much momentum as possible with our people. It has to be a perfect game in many, many departments," added Guardiola.
In the Premier League, Manchester City rank second with 61 points in 30 games, they are nine points behind the table topper Arsenal (70 points) and pretty much out of the title race.
