A former teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, was asked to choose between the two football icons. The player has played alongside two legends from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, respectively.
Ex-Real Madrid and PSG star weighs in on Ronaldo vs Messi debate
It's a tough question and one of the biggest debates in the world of sports. However, Keylor Navas, who has played with both the superstars during his time with the Whites and PSG, chose the Portugal international. The Costa Rican goalkeeper, via BolaVip, stated:
"It's hard, but if I had to choose, I think that, more than anything because of the moment in which I lived, that I was with them... I would choose Cristiano."
However, back in 2013, the Liga MX club Pumas UNAM, which then played for Levante, called the MLS star a “very good player.” Navas also called him “best in the world.”

Nevertheless, after sharing a dressing room with Ronaldo, Navas, in 2015, claimed that “Cristiano is the best,” for him. The former Los Blancos goalkeeper stated that Cristiano’s work and his professionalism always surprised him.
A year later, he again commented on the Ronaldo vs Messi debate while calling both of them the “two great players,” Navas again called Ronaldo the “best” for him. However, he also added that he would be “blind” to not consider Messi a “great player.”
Navas has shared four years with Ronaldo at Real Madrid, where the duo won three Champions League titles, one domestic league, three European Super Cups and three FIFA Club World Cups together. With the Argentine star, the 38-year-old footballer has played 16 games at the French club PSG, winning the Ligue 1 title and a Trophée des Champions trophy.
