Bayern Munich made their third proposal this summer for English skipper Harry Kane, setting an unofficial deadline of Friday midnight for the same. However, the weekend went by with no news. Come Monday, sources from the PA news agency revealed that Tottenham has declined the German club's recent offer.

Tottenham's chairman, Daniel Levy, is said to have had discussions with Bayern representatives the past week. Yet, the two clubs' valuations differ by about £25 million.

While it was anticipated that Friday’s proposal might be Bayern's last for the season, it's uncertain if they'll continue to show interest in acquiring Kane.

Despite being in the last year of his contract with Tottenham and amidst the speculation about his transfer, Kane remained focused, netting four goals in a 5-1 friendly triumph against Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday.
