Video circulating on social media, shared by MARCA, shows a bus being struck by objects in a garage-like setting with cheering crowds nearby. The publication claimed supporters confused the vehicles in the pre-match frenzy.
However, many observers immediately questioned the account, noting the bus in the footage prominently features "Força Barça" branding, blaugrana colors, and FC Barcelona logos, making misidentification unlikely.
Incidents of fan violence around team buses are not uncommon in high-stakes Spanish derbies, though past cases have often involved attacks on opposition vehicles. Both teams' convoys reportedly faced tense scenes en route to the stadium, with additional reports of objects thrown at the Real Madrid bus, including one that damaged a window. No injuries were immediately confirmed from the alleged self-inflicted incident.
