The latest update for Delta Force, launched on January 21, introduces significant operator balance adjustments and numerous bug fixes, all aimed at improving the gameplay experience without disrupting matchmaking or causing downtime. Players can look forward to a more balanced operation with optimizations across various game modes and maps.
Operator Balance Adjustments
A major highlight of this update is the tweaks made to the operator Sineva. Her EOD Set Damage Reduction has been increased from 30% to 50%, enhancing her resilience. Additionally, her Shield Turning Speed Limit has been boosted from 360°/s to 540°/s, allowing for more responsive movement. In Warfare mode, Sineva's Grapple Gun cooldown has been reduced from 15 seconds to 10 seconds, enhancing her mobility. Other improvements include increased Observation Window health from 100 to 150, better damage mitigation for bullets and explosions, and an enhanced Tactical Gear Capture Bonus from 5 to 10 points. The reaction time after being hit by a Grapple Gun is now quicker at 0.4 seconds instead of 0.6 seconds, and shield bash damage has been increased from 35 to 55.
For Operations mode, the Grapple Gun cooldown has been further reduced to 25 seconds, and the EOD Set removal time has been dramatically decreased from 4.6 seconds to 1.6 seconds, streamlining gameplay and boosting tactical flexibility.
Map Adjustments and Fixes
The Trainwreck map has undergone several changes in both Attack and Defend and King of the Hill modes. Attackers now have access to additional light vehicles at Sector B, while defenders gain an FSV Wheeled Tank Destroyer for enhanced defensive capabilities. Vehicle spawn issues and terrain adjustments have been addressed to improve overall flow and infantry movement.
The Knife Edge map has also received adjustments, including new ORV unlocks for attackers and changes to key areas (A1, B1, C1, etc.) to enhance gameplay.
Bug Fixes and Optimizations
Various display and functional issues have been resolved, including overlapping items in Layali Grove, squadmate spectator UI problems, and display glitches in Brakkesh. Additionally, vehicle performance has been optimized, with improved vehicle exits after flipping over.
These updates collectively fine-tune the Delta Force player experience, ensuring smoother and more balanced gameplay with fewer interruptions. Players are advised to restart after the update to ensure complete functionality.
