In a spectacular display of skill, determination, and teamwork, the Rajnigandha Achievers Polo Team emerged victorious at The Radha Mohan Rajinder Mohan (RMRM) Gold Vase Cup. This is the sixth consecutive win for the Rajnigandha Achievers Polo Team at the RMRM Gold Vase Cup. The Rajnigandha Achievers Polo Team edged past Sujan Indian Tigers with a narrow but decisive 6-5 win in the final match held yesterday.
The tournament, held from March 4th to 9th, brought together five exceptional teams vying for the prestigious title, making for an electrifying week of high-octane polo action. The final clash was nothing short of a nail-biter, with both teams battling neck and neck till the last chukker.
Coming from behind, Rajnigandha Achievers showcased an impressive comeback, sealing their victory with two crucial goals in the final chukker. The Rajnigandha Achievers team comprises Dr. Shivangi Jaisingh, Mr. Shamsheer Ali, Mr. Abhimanyu Pathak, and Mr. Daniel Otamendi. Notably, Mr. Shamsheer Ali was instrumental in their success, scoring the opening goal, the equalizer, and ultimately, the winning goal.
Fresh from their RMRM triumph, Rajnigandha Achievers now set their sights on the upcoming Aditya Birla Memorial Cup, scheduled from March 24th to 30th, 2025. With high morale and sharp form, the team aims to continue their winning streak and secure another title.
