After dropping a thunderous promo on Monday Night Raw, held in Brussels, Belgium, John Cena, with a changed persona, took to social media and possibly presented the WWE universe with an easter egg about what may eventually transpire in the future. Cena posted a still of Ross and Rachel from the popular sitcom Friends on Instagram. What drew the attention of the followers was the episode and the scene the picture belonged to.

John Cena Leaves Fans Guessing with His Social Media Post
John Cena lashed out at the WWE Universe on Raw and conveyed it out loud that he is done with them after 25 years of service. He also mentioned that he is breaking up with the crowd, and attributed their love-hate show towards him as toxic. To define the situation, he picked the episode from the Friends where Ross and Rachel were arguing over whether they were on a break or not. Eventually, they broke up but reconciled in the 10th and final season of the show.
Therefore, John Cena's post might be portraying the same. He may have parted ways with the fans for now but will embrace their giveaway and become the same old John Cena, the wrestler that kids have looked up to and who became the symbol of hope, disseminating the message of "never give up", one more time before hanging up his boots.

John Cena Turned Heel at Elimination Chamber 2025
John Cena turned heel at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. He aligned with the Rock at the event and mercilessly attacked the undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. As Cena won the Elimination Chamber match, he will face Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41. Should John Cena beat the American Nightmare, he will hold the title for the record 17th time. The transition to the heel gimmick has garnered extra traction to the storyline as John Cena performed as a babyface since 2004. It will be interesting to note what the WrestleMania build-up will have in store but whatever it will be it promises to be intriguing.
