“For sure. If you think I’m up here giving these speeches and leading these men into battle and I won’t step in there myself, think again. For sure, Conor McGregor will fight in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Mark my words.” said McGregor.

Michael Chandler Reacts to Conor McGregor's Claim
Conor McGregor's heavy words triggered a reaction from UFC fighter Michael Chandler, who attributed McGregor's words as. A “side job” of sorts.
Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler were expected to take on each other in 2023 but the fight got prolonged to 2024, but eventually never transpired. Michael Chandler in the meanwhile moved on from the fight and returned to the Octagon after two years at UFC 309.
Conor McGregor hasn't set foot inside the Octagon of UFC since 2021. The former UFC champion suffered a career-threatening foot injury at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier, and despite recovering from it, he never made it back to the ring. The fans desire to witness McGregor in action at least once in the ring again but it is anybody's guess if he will ever end the inactivity period. However, claims that these disseminate hope, but unfortunately McGregor has made many such claims lately.
