The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) is facing its second major protest of the year as top wrestlers in the country are demanding the resignation and arrest of its president, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The wrestlers are accusing him of sexual harassment, among other allegations. However, Brij Bhushan has denied all allegations against him and claimed that the protest is a conspiracy hatched by Congress leader Deepender Hooda and wrestler Bajrang Punia.

On Sunday, Brij Bhushan revealed that he has an audio clip to prove that the protest is a conspiracy hatched by Deepender Hooda and Bajrang Punia, which will be handed over to the Delhi Police when the time comes. He also added that Priyanka Gandhi, a Congress leader who visited the protest site, will realize that she should not have gone there once she knows the truth.

"It is their right to protest. But, can a player associated with the railways sit on a protest like this where objectionable slogans are being raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath," Brij Bhushan asked.

"When the time comes, it will be handed over to the Delhi Police," Brij Bhushan added.

Despite two FIRs being registered against Brij Bhushan by the Delhi Police, no action has been taken against him yet, and he has not received a copy of the FIR. He, however, stated that he will cooperate with the investigation.

The protest, which entered its eighth day on Sunday, has been supported by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, among others. The wrestlers have said that they will continue the sit-in until Brij Bhushan is arrested. Unlike their January protest, politicians were not barred from visiting the protest site this time.

An old interview of Brij Bhushan admitting to having committed one murder has also resurfaced amid the protests. Wrestler Bajrang Punia shared the video on Sunday, demanding Brij Bhushan's arrest and questioning why the media is supporting him. Punia also criticized Brij Bhushan for questioning the medal winners, saying that he should be proud of their achievements instead.

Meanwhile, Bajrang Punia dismissed the allegations against the Phogat family and accused Brij Bhushan's family of capturing the association. He also denied wanting to control the Wrestling Federation of India.
