Mirra Andreeva reaches another milestone; ties Gauff in record books for THIS reason

Mirra Andreeva continues her remarkable rise on the biggest stages, highlighting her rapid ascent from junior ranks to elite competition. The tennis sensation has matched a historic teenage benchmark in WTA-1000 events and has now joined Coco Gauff in the unique list.

Andreeva hits iconic landmark with Dubai quarterfinal appearance; joins Gauff for THIS record 

The 18-year-old Russian prodigy has reached her eighth WTA-1000 quarter-final before turning 19 at the 2026 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, tying Gauff's record since the format began in 2009.

This milestone comes after Andreeva's straight-sets victory over Jaqueline Cristian in the third round, setting up a quarter-final clash with Amanda Anisimova.

As per a report by OptaAce, Andreeva has surpassed players like Caroline Wozniacki and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who each managed three such appearances in their teens. Catherine Cartan "CiCi" Bellis appeared twice before turning 19.
