Carlos Alcaraz was captured in a heated argument with the Japan Open umpire during the final encounter against Taylor Fritz. The Spanish sensational star complained about the shot clock in a furious rant with umpire Fergus Murphy.

Alcaraz felt that he was being rushed back to the tennis court between the points which didn't feel right with the tennis star. This came during a changeover when the six-time Grand Slam champion, seemingly looking frustrated at the official, complained:
"Do you think this is normal?”
Alcaraz, who felt he had very little time to recover and recharge as it was too soon for the umpire to make him return to the court against Fritz, argued:
“You never played tennis in your life.”
Replying to the complaint, the umpire stated that he was not the one who was controlling the shot clock, and it was the technology which was automatic; however, the World No. 1 still looked disappointed and furious with the decision.
Meanwhile, the Spanish professional was able to take his Laver Cup revenge to beat the American star in straight sets with a score of 6-4 6-4.
Earlier, a heated exchange between Coco Gauff and Belinda Bencic had gone viral on the internet, where the Swiss star was captured accusing the American’s team of disrupting her focus from the game.
The Tokyo Olympics 2020 gold medalist, frustrated with the situation, said that she was too old for the ‘mind games.’ Meanwhile, the US star staged a remarkable comeback to beat Bencic 4-6, 7-6 (7/4), 6-2 to reach the quarterfinal in Beijing.
