Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) claimed a strong win over Kolkata Knight Riders in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash on Wednesday, May 13 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Star RCB all-rounder Krunal Pandya reminded everyone about his prediction on Virat Kohli which turned out to be exactly true.

Krunal Pandya's accurate prediction on Kohli

After Virat Kohli scored two back-to-back ducks, Krunal expressed support for the former India skipper to make a strong comeback with a big knock. Meanwhile, Kohli proved his prediction right by scoring a masterclass century against KKR.

"Virat Kohli is a champion player. When he fails for two games, I get more excited because I know he will come back. We are never tense about him. He is a different beast, he has a lot of hunger. Following RCB's strong win over KKR, the left-arm spin all rounder shared an Instagram post, where he can be seen making '100' pose with Virat. In the caption, Krunal Pandya flexed about his accurate prediction on former India spinner's comeback.

Virat Kohli's strong campaign in IPL 2026

The 37-year-old batter is having a great time in the ongoing IPL 2026 season for defending champions RCB, trying his level best to help the side retain the title. After playing 12 matches, Virat Kohli has amassed 484 runs at an amazing average of 53.78 with an aggressive strike rate of 165.75.

The right-handed batter has smashed one century and three half centuries in the tournament, with the help of 53 boundaries and 18 sixes.

Next challenge for RCB 

After claiming a win over KKR, the Rajat Patidar-led side will prepare to face Shreyas Iyer's Punjab Kings in their upcoming IPL 2026 game. It is going to be an away game, as it will be played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in Dharamshala.
