Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah finally got the clearance from the Centre of Excellence (COE), formerly NCA. The speedster will join the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad in a day or two. In the next two days, he will join the Hardik Pandya-led side for the mega event. Bumrah is already in Mumbai
The speedster will have to play at least two practice matches (match stimulation) before featuring in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. As per sources close to Sports Tak, Bumrah will make his comeback in the Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals clash, which is scheduled to take place on April 13 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The speedster will miss MI's upcoming clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), which will take place on April 7 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Bumrah is out of cricketing action since the fifth Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 in Australia stress-related discomfort in his lower back. The speedster has been cautious and wants to ensure he is fit before returning to action. This is keeping in mind India's five-Test series in England, starting on June 28.
Five-time champions MI had a forgetful start in the ongoing IPL. They have played four IPL matches so far in the ongoing season where they managed to win just one clash. Hardik-led side have handed debuts to the likes of Satyanarayana Raju, Vignesh Puthur and Ashwani Kumar in Bumrah's absence, with Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar leading the attack and Hardik Pandya the other seam-bowling option in the line-up.
