Following the game, Rishabh Pant was very happy with the result as the middle order lived up to the expectation with a very brave effort from the bowling unit, which led to a perfect game as LSG secured their first win at their home venue.

“It was a good game for us and it means a lot for the whole team. We have been trying lot of things. Coming to the same page means a lot for us," Rishabh.

Speaking further, the LSG skipper admitted it was a tough season for the franchise but the players did their job, as they were looking for a perfect game where every department gives their hundred per cent and contributes to the team's win.

“It’s been a tough season but sometimes you have to go through the grind. Definitely we were trying to put together a perfect game where batting and bowling comes together," added Rishabh Pant.

For LSG, the bowling department has been consistently performing and turned out to be the side's only hope in a disastrous season, as Pant appreciated his bowlers for giving their top performance throughout the campaign.

“Our strength this season has been bowling, the way all the bowlers have put their heart out, especially Prince, Shami bhai, Rathi, Avesh, Mayank all the bowlers. There has been some good things as a bowling unit, and looking forward to that," Pant added.
