They are currently seventh in the points table tally. Five-time champions MI started their IPL 2025 campaign against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) where the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side defeated them by four wickets.

MI played their third clash of IPL 2025 against Kolkata Knight Riders, where they registered their first win by defeating the defending champions by eight wickets. After that Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated them by 12 runs. Hardik Pandya-led side won their last clash against the table toppers Delhi Capitals by 12 runs.

Hardik-led side will look to continue their winning momentum in their upcoming clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad which is scheduled to take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
