Murali Kartik hailed the pacer after his match-winning spell of 3/33 in Lucknow.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) secured their first home win in the ongoing IPL 2026 season, edging defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru(RCB) on Thursday, May 7 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B in Lucknow. LSG speedster Prince Yadav shined with his fiery spell of 3/33 which led Rishabh Pant's side to seal the game by 9 runs (DLS method).

Big moment for Prince Yadav in IPL 2026

In a key moment of the game, Prince Yadav dismissed India star batter Virat Kohli for a two-ball duck. The delivery was sheer beauty, as Virat himself could not believe what happened to him. However, former India player Murali Kartik has a different point of view on Prince Yadav's amazing ball to Virat.

Reflecting on Prince Yadav's magical delivery, former India spinner Murali Kartik dropped an unique take saying that the young pacer dismissed Virat Kohli with the same kind of aggression once the star batter used to surprise others during his peak time.

"Taste of his own medicine. Prince Yadav left everyone surprised. Even Virat Kohli was left looking at himself and the pitch. I think he even asked the batter at the non-striker's end whether it kept low or not. But there was nothing like that about the ball," Murali Kartik said on Cricbuzz.
