Manish Narwal Wins Silver at Paris Paralympics
Narwal displayed consistent form throughout the competition, maintaining a strong position for a podium finish. However, in the final six shots, his momentum seemed to waver. He struggled to maintain his accuracy, scoring below 10 on multiple occasions. In the decisive gold shootout, Narwal's score of 10.1 was not enough to overcome the exceptional performance of Jeongdu Jo from Korea. Jo shot an incredible 10.8 under immense pressure, followed by an 8.7, which ultimately secured him the gold medal. Despite narrowly missing out on the gold, Narwal's silver medal is a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication. His consistent performance at the highest level of para-shooting has solidified his reputation as one of the world's leading athletes.

India's successful medal haul at Paris Paralympics
Manish Narwal's silver medal added to India's impressive medal tally at the Paris Paralympics. This achievement followed the earlier successes of Avani Lekhara, who secured her second consecutive gold medal in the 10m air rifle event, and Mona Agarwal, who won a bronze medal in the same event.
Minutes after Narwal's victory, Preethi Pal etched her name in Paralympic history by winning India's first-ever track medal. Her bronze medal in the women's 100m T35 event marked a significant milestone for Indian para-athletics.
