Ryan Braun was a star for the Milwaukee Brewers in Major League Baseball (MLB) and played the entirety of his career on the same team from 2007 to 2020. In a career that spanned roughly fourteen years, he achieved lots of personal awards and accolades.

Ryan Braun has a long list of personal achievements tied to his name that include being a six-time All-Star, NL MVP in 2011, ML Rookie of the Year (2007), NL home run leader (2012) and Milwaukee Brewers Wall of Honour. But, the biggest controversy of his career came in 2011.

Late in the 2011 season, Braun tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. He maintained silence but soon after in a public apology, he admitted to his crimes.
"It was a huge mistake for which I am deeply ashamed and I compounded the situation by not admitting my mistake immediately," Braun said quoted as per AP.

He was then suspended for the 2013 season and nearly missed around 65 games. Trying to get in everyone's good book, he began his suspension.
"By coming forward when I did and waiving my right to appeal any sanctions that were going to be imposed, I knew I was making the correct decision and taking the first step in the right direction," Braun added.
In the 2014 season, Braun made his comeback and this time, in a new position. Milwaukee Brewers had traded Nirochika Aoki to the Kansas City Royals as Braun took his right fielder job.

At first, it looked like accusations but then soon after, Ryan Braun confessed. When he was investigated by the League, the evidence was not provided which was by then not necessary.
"I was never presented with baseball's evidence against me, but I didn't need to be, because I knew what I had done," Braun further added.
Other players who have been involved in PEDs are Alex Rodriquez, Nelson Cruz, Jhonny Peralta and Everth Cabrera.
