LeBron James just doesn’t want to stop, even at the age of 41. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has created yet another record to become the first player ever to do so. The player has added another landmark achievement to his record-breaking resume, and here is a look at the new record.

James has further extended his seemingly insurmountable NBA scoring record as he recorded his 43,000th career point to become the first player in NBA history to do so. The milestone came in Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics.

The Lakers forward surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's previous record of 38,387 points in 2023 despite having a low start this season. The former Cleveland Cavaliers player sat out for a significant amount of time due to sciatica in the beginning, but this did not stop him from scoring 43k points.

However, JJ Redick’s side fell 89-111 to the Celtics at Crypto Arena as Jaylen Brown had 32 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. On the other hand, James recorded 20 points for the Lakers, which was not enough to beat the rivals.
