The Indiana Pacers will be hosting Oklahoma City Thunder for Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday, June 14th at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The main talking point from the Pacers point of view would be whether Myles Turner starts Game 4 against Oklahoma City Thunder or not.
Will Myles Turner start Game 4 against OKC Thunder?
It looks like that the 29-year-old center will be suiting up for Game 4 against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday as he is not listed on the team's injury report. Turner was suffering from a respiratory illness but will be available on Friday.
Indiana Pacers head coach Lee Carlisle has expressed his concerns over Turner's fitness after the Pacers' 116-107 win on Wednesday. After winning the match, during the post-match conference, Carlisle explained how the center was under the weather and was not part of their practice.
Myles is under the weather. He may not even be with us tomorrow, he just hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days, it has been affecting his wind, Carlisle expressed.
Despite being under the weather, Myles Turner still played for 30 minutes as the Pacers took a 2-1 lead in the seven game series. He was having a very-off game as he shot 3-11 from the field along with 9 points and two rebounds.
During the Finals media day on Thursday, Carlisle gave major update on Turner's health. This was shared by Pacers reporter Scott Agness on his X account.
Myles Turner came in for the team film session but then went home to rest, as Rick Carlisle first mentioned last night. He’s under the weather, so they want for him to get well, Agness wrote.
Despite Turner's respiratory issues that caused him to miss practice on Thursday, the Pacers have made a decision on his availability for Game 4. He is not listed on the team's injury report and will be suiting up for Game 4.
