Milwaukee Bucks reserve guard Andre Jackson Jr. was involved in a single-vehicle accident. His car was ramped into downtown, after his team’s Saturday morning workout but did not require medical attention, according to the team.

A spokesperson for the Bucks confirmed Jackson was alone in the vehicle, and no injuries were reported. Jackson is expected to join the team for its game against Brooklyn on Sunday. The accident occurred when Jackson’s car crashed into the porch of a Yankee Hill apartment in downtown Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a call at 11:32 a.m. reporting a vehicle had struck a house in the 900 block of East State Street. A department official noted that they responded due to property damage, but there were no injuries.

Barry Baum, the Bucks' chief communications officer, stated Saturday night: "Andre was involved in a single-vehicle accident after this morning’s team workout. Andre was alone in his car. Fortunately, no one was injured and he didn’t require medical attention. Andre will be joining the team in New York for tomorrow’s game."

Brian Walker, a resident of Juneau Towers, described hearing a loud noise from his apartment before seeing a vehicle crashed into the porch area of a Yankee Hill townhouse. Walker said around 15 people gathered at the scene, along with a fire truck and ambulance.  A Journal Sentinel reporter at the crash scene observed skid marks, a pile of bricks, bent metal railings, a bumper fragment, and significant damage to a brick wall.

Jackson, who joined the Bucks in a draft night trade with Orlando last year, played in 57 games as a rookie. In July, he underwent surgery for a fractured finger. He was not listed on the initial injury report for Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets.
