They won their third Champions Trophy title.

Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma have returned home.

It appears quite improbable that the Indian team will be welcomed home with a lavish celebration like the one after T20 World Cup 2025 following their victory in the 2025 Champions Trophy in Dubai. At the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, spinners stole the show by taking five wickets and limiting New Zealand to 251/7. India won the 2025 Champions Trophy by four wickets thanks to an outstanding 76 off 83 balls from captain Rohit Sharma and an undefeated 34 from KL Rahul.

From Dubai, the Indian team will depart independently for their individual locations. It also recognizes that before joining their various IPL teams, who have or are about to begin their pre-season camps in advance of the ten-team tournament that begins on March 22, the players are probably going to take a brief break.

The Mumbai Indians, for instance, who are led by Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, started their pre-tournament training at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. Earlier this month, Sunrisers Hyderabad, who employ Mohammed Shami, began their preseason training.

In less than two weeks, the IPL will begin. The Indian athletes will join their teams and get ready for the lucrative league. The members of the Indian team who won the Champions Trophy will soon join the 10 franchises as they begin their preparations for the 18th season of the Indian Premier League.
