Kuldeep Yadav's put New Zealand batters in a spin during Champions Trophy 2025 final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 9.
Virat Kohli loses cool at Kuldeep Yadav
However, Kuldeep impressive bowling performance was momentarily overshadowed by a heated exchange with teammate Virat Kohli. While Kuldeep put on a show with the ball, he made a lapse while fielding during the 41st over to bear Virat Kohli's brunt. The incident stemmed from a fielding miscue on the second delivery of the over, when Michael Bracewell played a shot that resulted in a collision between himself and Daryl Mitchell while running a single.
Ravindra Jadeja attempted a direct hit at the stumps, but his throw missed.
Crucially, Kuldeep was positioned too far from the stumps, a position that, had he been closer, could have led to a vital dismissal for India. This fielding misjudgement drew immediate and visible frustration from both Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, who were seen expressing their displeasure towards him. Not just them, even captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir were also seen in utter disbelief post Kuldeep's act.
