Star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav made a hilarious comment on his teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal's Instagram post and reminded him of an old warning from India captain Rohit Sharma ahead of their warm-up game against Bangladesh in the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which is set to be held in the United States and West Indies.

Rohit's 'garden mein ghoomega' remark became popular during India's five-match Test series against England. During the second Test in Vizag, Rohit scolded his players for their casual approach while fielding and this was caught in the stump mic. His words got really famous among cricket fans and went viral really fast.

 

Suryakumar Yadav made his comment in the reference to this dialogue from Rohit Sharma on Jaiswal's Instagram post. Surya wrote “Sambhal ke, Garden me ghoomega to pata hai na”. Now his response is going viral all across the social space.

India take part in the first practice session

 

The Indian cricket team has gathered in the USA for their first practice session. Virat Kohli is the only player from the 15-member squad to have not joined the team yet. Even Hardik Pandya and Sanju Samson have joined team and took part in the training session.

 

Team India will only play one warm-up game against Bangladesh before the start of the tournament. Then their campaign will begin with the clash against Ireland in New York, on June 5 and it will be followed by the much-awaited match against arch-rivals Pakistan on the same venue, on June 9.
