Former India captain Virat Kohli was seen sad after again failing to perform in the semifinal clash of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 against England on Thursday (June 27th). The modern-day great was seen sad after he got dismissed by Reece Topley during the third over of the game after scoring just nine runs. This dismissal added to his woes in the competition. In the group stage, he managed a meagre 5 runs across 3 innings, with scores of 1, 4, and 0.

The batting great was consoled by India head coach Rahul Dravid after he failed to perform in the high-voltage clash against England. The clip of Dravid and Kohli went viral on the social sphere where the Indian opener was seen sitting with Jadeja and Dravid came to console him. Here is the video:

Kohli is going through the lean patch in the ongoing marquee event. In the group stage, he managed a meager 5 runs across 3 innings, with scores of 1, 4, and 0. While he showed glimpses of form in the Super 8 stage, scoring 24 against Afghanistan and 37 against Bangladesh, he couldn't convert those starts into big scores.

After being asked to bat, India managed to score 80 runs in eight overs by losing two wickets. Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav were seen steady after rain played the spoilsport in the game.

Match Cancellation and Cut-off Time:

Since there's no reserve day for this crucial match, the ICC has allocated an extra 250 minutes of playing time. The match will only start losing overs after approximately 2:40 PM local time (12:10 AM IST). If it gets to that point, a 10-over-a-side game would be possible, with the cut-off time being around 4:14 PM local time (1:44 AM IST).

If the match is called off, India will advance to the final due to their superior group stage performance and England will be eliminated.
