Pakistan have gained respect for their gesture after defeating Namibia in the Super 12 game of the T20 World Cup 2021. Following the match, the Pakistani squad surprised the Namibian players by paying a visit to their dressing room in order to support the associate nation players.

In a video uploaded by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on their official Twitter account, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Hasan Ali, Fakhar Zaman, and Shadab Khan were among the players spotted in Namibia's changing room.

“#SpiritofCricket - Pakistan team visited Namibia dressing room to congratulate them on their journey in the @T20WorldCup #WeHaveWeWill | #T20WorldCup,” PCB captioned with a video.

Pakistan posted a strong total of 189/2 in their 20 overs, with contributions from skipper Babar Azam (70), wicketkeeper-batter Mohammed Rizwan (79*), and Hafeez (32*). In response, Namibia only managed to score 144/5, and Pakistan's 45-run victory ensured their place in the mega event's semi-final with one match to spare. With eight points and a net run rate (NRR) of +1.065, the Babar-led side is currently at the top of Group 2 of the Super 12.

The Men in Green have looked invincible in all four matches they've played so far, and their encounter against Scotland on November 7 will be a dead rubber for them as they've gone undefeated so far. Before the semi-finals, they may rest their star players and test their bench strength against the Scottish team.
