South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first in their match against India. Both the sides made one change each to their respective playing XIs as the Women in Blue brought in Amanjot Kaur for Renuka Thakur while the Proteas have brought in Tumi Sekhukhune for Masabata Klaas.
India come into this match after recording victories in their first two games of the tournament. They first defeated Sri Lanka in their opening match before thumping arch-rivals Pakistan by 88 runs in their second match. On the other hand, South Africa had a disastrous start to their campaign as they were handed a 10-wicket defeat by England. However, they managed to make a strong comeback in the very next match and defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets.

"We are gonna have a bowl first. Looks like a very nice wicket. Should be pretty high-scoring. Very happy with how we played in the last game. She (Brits) has been amazing, long may the form continue," South Africa skipper Laura Wolvaardt said.
"We are batting first, hopefully we'll be able to get a good result. They've (the supporters) been great. Every time they're in the stadium to support us, hopefully we'll play good cricket and win today then. We have one change - Amanjot is back in place of Renuka. Every game I think we need to keep showing improvement and today is a very important match for us and I'm sure we're going to play good cricket," India captain Harmanpreet Kaur said at the toss.
A victory here will see India go to the top of the points table with six points from three matches while o n the other hand, South Africa will enter the top 4 if they manage to record a victory in Visakhapatnam.
