Anderson-Tendulkar Tropyhy 2025 ended in a draw.

India speedster Mohammed Siraj shifted the momentum of the fifth Test match against England when the hosts needed 35 runs with four wickets in hand before the start of the last day of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025. Siraj, who ended the five-Test match series as the highest wicket-taker with 23 scalps in 10 innings, picked up a wicket in his first over of Day 5 of the last Test.

Siraj picked up three wickets on the last day of the fifth Test match to complete his fifer in the series. He also removed Gus Atkinson to bowl out England. After India's win, when asked by the presenter, Siraj said that impossible is is not a part of his dictionary as he always believed that he could win the final Test for India at any point in time.

"I woke up in the morning and checked google on my phone and took out a 'Believe' emoji wallpaper and told myself that I will do it for the country" said Mohammed Siraj.

Soon after the presentation ceremony, Siraj also showed his  'Believe' emoji wallpaper featuring his favourite football great, Cristiano Ronaldo. Here is the picture.

"My only plan was to bowl good areas. Didn't matter if I took wickets or went for runs," Siraj said. His feet touched the boundary rope while trying to catch Harry Brook when he was on 19 and he scored a smashing ton when it looked like the match slipping from India's grasp. "I didn't think I'd touch the cushion when I took it. It was a match-changing moment. Brook got into T20 moment. We were behind the game after that but Thank God. I thought the match was gone," Siraj said.

With this win, India surpassed England (26) in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table tally with 28 points behind Australia (36)  and Sri Lanka (16). India's next Test assignment will be against the West Indies, which is scheduled to start from October 02.
