'Our boys are lazy bums. They just don't...': Rohit Sharma's epic statement catches fire on the internet amidst Mumbai Indians' struggles in IPL 2024

Team India captain Rohit Sharma came up with a classic 'Hitman' reply when asked if he has ever lost his cool on players on the field in a live match. Rohit Sharma, who will be seen in an episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show' on Netflix along with teammate Shreyas Iyer, answered a question asked by comedian Kapil Sharma and the Hitman's reply has gone viral across social medial platforms.

In a teaser shared by Netflix India, Kapil Sharma quizzes Rohit "There are mics nowadays on the stumps. Does it ever happen that you've gotten mad at someone?"

Rohit Sharma, who is known for his witty one-line replies to questions, replied to Kapil "Kar bhi kya sakta hun, ye hamare ladke sust murge hain (What can I do? Our boys are lazy bums. They just don't run.)."

The complete episode of Rohit Sharma in ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show' will be released soon on Netflix.

As the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently underway, Rohit Sharma is plying his trade with the Mumbai Indians. The 'Hitman' has had an ordinary start to the tournament with the bat. During his most recent outing, Rohit was dismissed for a golden duck in the match against the Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium.

Overall, Rohit has so far scored 69 runs in three matches at a strike rate of 164.29. He has smashed eight fours and four sixes in the competition thus far.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are enduring another slow start to their IPL campaign as the franchise has lost three matches on the trot to begin the season. Hardik Pandya's team are stationed at the rock bottom of the points table.
