Highlights:

SRH are placed third on the points table with five wins from seven games.

RCB are at the bottom of the points table with seven losses from eight games.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and opted to at first at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). After the narrow one-run defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens, Du Plessis did not make a change to his team combination.

“We are gonna bat first. We feel like our fans go with us everywhere. These boys have been playing some amazing cricket, hopefully we can put some scoreboard pressure on them. We fought really hard in the last game. Same team,” RCB skipper said after winning the toss.

SRH captain Pat Cummins did not make big changes to the team combination. He also thanked the fans for support at their homeground. He dropped Washington Sundar to include left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat in the side.

“It's been awesome, good to be back here. It's my first year here. The amount of people wearing orange, feels like a good place. We want to bat the same way. We have to adjust quicker as a bowling side. Unadkat comes in for Washington Sundar,” Cummins said at the coin toss.
