The final match of the ongoing 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, May 28. Of the four playoff sides, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have already reached the final, while the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) will battle for the other spot in the final in their Qualifier 2 match to be held on May 26.
At the same time, the BCCI has also intensified their work to make the IPL final memorable. They recently revealed which singers will perform in the closing ceremony.
King and Nucleya to make their IPL debuts!
For the closing ceremony of IPL 2023, BCCI revealed on Twitter and on their official website that rapper King and DJ Nucleya (Udyan Sagar) have been tasked with entertaining the crowds with their music.
King has won hearts with his music of late. His song 'Tu Aake Dekhle' from the album Carnival went viral on all music and video streaming platforms. Another song of his 'Maan meri Jaan did even better and has over 300 million views on YouTube since it was released in 2022. The song garnered so much attention that he went on to sing a rendition of the same with Nick Jonas, husband of famed Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, and a former member of the Jonas Brothers.
Meanwhile, Nucleya has been in the game for a while now. In 2015, Nucleya launched his debut album Bass Rani, which won billions of hearts, and the music producer will hope to light the stage once again on Sunday evening.
The duo are set to take the stage at the Narendra Modi Stadium from 6 pm onwards.
Preparation for light show also ongoing
For the IPL 2023 final, fans can also see a very impressive light show. Reports have revealed that preparations are ongoing for a light show as well.

A lot of the crowds in Ahmedabad are gearing up for a mega IPL 2023 climax, with MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) reaching their 10th final. The whole season has passed by with different claims that this might or might not be the final season for the talismanic wicketkeeper-batter.
With CSK already in the final, the battle to face them will take place between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the same venue in Ahmedabad on Friday, May 26.
