The five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) have announced Australia's star pacer Riley Meredith as Jhye Richardson's replacement for the rest of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season.
Richardson was suffering from a hamstring injury and thus was ruled out of the sixteenth edition of the glitzy league. Talking about Meredith's portfolio, he has featured in five T20Is and has snared eight wickets riding on a three-wicket haul. The 26-year-old has earlier played for Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians in IPL in which he took 12 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 33.75.
