His masterful knock included 8 boundaries and 6 towering sixes, guiding his team to stunning win. This incredible innings now stands as the highest individual score ever recorded in an IPL match held in Guwahati. De Kock surpassed the previous record of 86, set by Shikhar Dhawan for the Punjab Kings against the same opponent back in IPL 2023. Moreover, this stellar performance makes the South African the first player in IPL history to achieve a score of 90 or more in a game played in Guwahati.
