RCB have displayed formidable form on the road in the 2025 Indian Premier League, securing win in all three of their away matches thus far. Remarkably, these wins have come against three of the most successful franchises in the league's history. Under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, RCB started their away campaign with triumphs over KKR at Eden Gardens and CSK at Chepauk. They then extended their unbeaten away record by conquering the Wankhede Stadium with a win over MI. This impressive streak highlights RCB's strength and adaptability across different venues and against strong opposition.

While Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) boast an unblemished record in away fixtures, their only setback in the 2025 Indian Premier League occurred in their sole home game against the Gujarat Titans (GT) at their own Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Rajat Patidar has now etched his name in RCB's history, leading the team to a remarkable and rare feat, securing away victories against CSK, KKR, and MI within the same season. This achievement is only the second instance of such a treble in the Indian Premier League, with Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) being the only other team to accomplish this back in the 2012 season.

Back in the 2012 season, Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) achieved their treble of away wins against KKR, CSK, and MI through closely contested matches. They secured a two-run victory in Kolkata and a seven-run win in Chennai. Their triumph in Mumbai was a nail-biting, six-wicket win in the final over, with three balls remaining. Interestingly, Adam Gilchrist captained the side for the win against KKR, but due to injury, David Hussey took over the captaincy for the away fixtures against MI and CSK. This distinction makes Rajat Patidar the first captain in the history of the Indian Premier League to achieve this rare treble of away wins against these three formidable teams within the same season.

Throughout the history of the league, numerous teams have managed to secure away victories against two of these three prominent franchises in a single season. However, only Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kings XI Punjab have achieved the distinction of winning against all three – CSK, KKR, and MI – on their home turfs within the same year.
