Abhishek Sharma created a massive feat in Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) clash against Delhi Capitals (DC) , which is currently being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The left-handed batter notched up his second hundred in the IPL.

DC opted to bowl first against SRH, the left-handed opening duo of Travis Head and Abhishek got off to a great start by stitching a 97-run stand in just nine overs. Head lost his wicket to Axar Patel while trying to pull a widish delivery with Sameer Rizvi taking a simple catch.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma pulled off a stunning knock of 135 runs off just 68 balls which led SRH to reach 242/2 at the end of 20 overs. The star opener completed his hundred in 47 balls with a six over deep mid-wicket off Nitish Rana. With this Abhishek Sharma became first Indian batter to score two IPL centuries under 50 balls. The 25-year-old batter scored his maiden hundred in IPL against Punjab Kings in just 40 balls while representing SRH in 2025.

Abhishek Sharma is going through a red-hot form in IPL 2026 for Sunrisers Hyderabad, scoring massive 324 runs in just seven innings at an average of 46.29 with a humongous strike rate of 215.10 with the help of three fifty-plus scores in the tournament.
The star Indian batter has hit a total of 27 sixes and 25 fours in the ongoing season. The lefty-batter has amassed 262 runs only from boundaries this season.
At the time of writing, Delhi Capitals cruising at 69-1 with KL Rahul (unbeaten 26 off 17) and Nitish Rana (37 not out off 22) in the middle. It will be intersting see if DC can chase this mammoth target of 243.
