“Cricket tests patience as much as skill, and you handled both beautifully today.

“Keep your feet on the ground, and continue being in love with the game like you always have.

Denied strike by free-flowing Samad in final over

Arjun walked in to bat at no.8 after Mukul Choudhary lost his wicket in the 18th over. He scored five runs from as many deliveries and remained unbeaten as LSG posted 196/6. In the final over, he was denied a single by Abdul Samad who contributed with an unbeaten 20-ball 37.

Pant drops early chance

Later, Rishabh Pant handed the ball to Arjun in the seventh over. On the fourth ball, he produced a chance with a short delivery. Prabhsimran Singh went for the pull shot but ended up lobbing the ball to wicketkeeper Pant who put in a dive but dropped the catch. Prabhsimran was batting on 20 then. The left-arm pacer's second over turned out to be expensive. PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer hit him for a boundary. Then, Prabhsimran hit him for a four and a six.

Arjun dismisses Prabhsimran

Arjun was brought back into the attack to bowl the 15th over. Iyer hit him for two consecutive fours. On the last ball of the over, he bowled a low full toss and Prabhsimran missed it. He was dismissed lbw. The pacer broke the third-wicket partnership. Prabhsimran departed for a 39-ball 69. He bowled the 17th over as well. Only five runs came off it. The 26-year-old conceded 36 runs from his quota of four overs.
