Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star all-rounder Sunil Narine has recovered and will feature in their upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against the Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 31. The superstar player missed KKR's last IPL clash against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) due to ill health. KKR's newcomer and all-rounder, Moeen Ali, replaced the player in the game.
His replacement, Moeen Ali, picked up two wickets in his four overs, but he was unable to perform well with the bat. He managed to score five runs in 12 balls and was run out in the seventh over.
Amid ongoing uncertainty. KKR shared a new image where Sunil Narine can be seen arriving for the training. The franchise hinted that he will feature in their third IPL 2025 clash at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. As per Firstpost, the franchise has also officially addressed the situation.
“He is at training, with the rest of the team at Wankhede,” KKR said in a statement to the media.
