Royal Challengers Bengaluru are currently in Jaipur preparing for their upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) which is scheduled on April 13 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

A video of Virat Kohli is going viral on social media, where he can be seen meeting former India head coach Rahul Dravid, who is currently appointed as RR's head coach. Here is the clip.

RCB will wear green jerseys in their upcoming IPL match against RR from recycled fabric to raise awareness about conservation and the need to protect the environment. RCB captain Rajat Patidar will also present a plant as a memento to RR captain Sanju Samson during the toss as a part of the special initiative.

Speaking on the initiative, Rajesh Menon, COO, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, said: “For us it is about being bold, both on and off the pitch. Our green jerseys are more than just a symbol; they are a call to action. As proud representatives of the Garden City, sustainability is a natural priority for us. Through this initiative, we aim to leverage the cultural and social power of RCB to drive awareness and inspire fans to take small steps towards conservation.”

RR vs RCB head to head

RR and RCB played 32 matches against each other in IPL. Out of 32 matches, RCB managed to win 15 matches and RR won 14. Three matches between RR and RCB ended without a result. RR defeated RCB in their last two outings of the IPL 2024.

RCB's performance in IPL so far

RCB has played five IPL matches so far where the franchise registered three wins and two losses. RCB defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI), respectively. The franchise lost their two matches against Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) RCB are currently fourth in the points table tally.

RR's IPL 2025 performance so far

RR also played five matches and managed to register two wins and three losses. RR defeated Chennai Super Kings (PBKS) and (CSK). The franchise is currently on seventh in the points table tally.
