In a recent Instagram story, professional tennis player Sumeet Kumar Bajaj showed Dhoni showing off his skills with a tennis racket during what looked to be a friendly match.

Dhoni's passion for tennis is widely known, and it is common to see the former captain at major competitions like Wimbledon and the US Open. Interestingly, Bajaj and Dhoni had played doubles together at the Jharkhand Tennis Championships, where the cricketing great won in 2018, 2019, and 2022. As for cricket, Dhoni will play again for CSK in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). His inclusion has already increased fan interest as the team retained him as an uncapped player for Rs 4 crore. Even though Dhoni gave Ruturaj Gaikwad the captaincy of CSK prior to the 2024 Indian Premier League, his popularity is still unrivalled, especially at Chennai's famous Chepauk Stadium.
