Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma got his mojo back in the team's last Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 outing against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Rohit, who was facing a lot of criticism from fans on social media, played a superb unbeaten 76-run knock against CSK that helped MI to register a dominating nine-wicket win against the arch-rivals.

Former MI skipper Rohit thanked India's former assistant coach Abhishek Nayar for helping him to come out of his rough patch. India ODI and Test captain Rohit took his Instagram and shared a picture of himself on his Instagram Story and tagged Abhishek Nayar while thanking him. Notably, Nayar was recently sacked by the BCCI after the BGT debacle.

As per Cricbuzz, Abhishek Nayar was working behind the scenes with India ODI and Test captain Rohit before he was relieved from the BCCI and rejoined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The report further added that a day before Rohit's impressive 26 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium on April 17, the two were seen working with Nair at the Mumbai Cricket Association's (MCA) BKC facility.
