Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill reacted on social media after defeating Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League 2025 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The star batter faced a lot of criticism for his captaincy after losing their opener clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Gill-led GT made their comeback after facing a defeat in the first clash of the tournament by registering two consecutive wins against Mumbai Indians (MI) and RCB, respectively. After registering their second consecutive win, Gill took his 'X' formerly known as Twitter, to share a post slamming outside noise.

"Eyes on the game, not the noise" Gill captioned his social media post.

After winning the clash against RCB, Gill lavished praise on teammates for their performance. He lauded bowlers for picking quick wickets.

"We have seen on this ground.. restricting them to 170 was a good effort. The wicket has something in it sometimes; you can score 250 as well as get early wickets, there was something for the fast bowlers in the first 7-8 overs and we knew if we pick early wickets then we are in the game. You are disapointed but you need to keep coming back, grab the next opportunity. We batted professionally considering the wicket. It is all about adapting to the situation and play according to that" said Gill after GT's win.

Coming back to the RCB vs GT clash, after being asked to bat, RCB failed to get a good start as they lost three wickets in the powerplay. Openers Virat Kohli and Phil Salt departed on 7 and 14 runs, respectively, and Devdutt Padikkal got out on four runs. Despite losing early wickets, the hosts managed to score 169 runs in 20 overs. While chasing, GT star Jos Buttler (73 not out) and Sherfane Rutherford (30 not out) helped Gujarat to register an eight-wicket dominating win against the Rajat Patidar-led side.
