In a series of surprising events, Bangladesh's star wicketkeeper batter Litton Das has made shocking revelations regarding his one-season stint with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 edition.

Litton Das makes massive claim against KKR

Appearing on Bangladesh Cricket's Char Chokka podcast, Litton, opened up on his short experience with the Kolkata-based IPL franchise saying he never felt included in team setup, as he was never backed by the management.

"I felt KKR didn’t really need me that much. The team also didn’t support me the way I expected," said

While recalling one of the most shocking experience, Litton Das revealed that KKR informed him just a few moments before the game despite staying on the sidelines for the last two games without any proper communication from the management.

"Usually, a player is informed before a match that they will be playing the next day, or something along those lines. I had been sitting out for two matches, and there was no such discussion with me at all," said Litton.

"Suddenly, at 11 PM, I got a message saying, ‘You will play.’ I tried with whatever energy I had. In cricket, sometimes things go your way, and sometimes they don’t. That day just wasn’t mine" added Litton.
