Pakistan's fast bowler Haris Rauf had a spectacular spell that swept through the Pakistani batting. Rauf maintained his form from the first game, taking five wickets in eight overs to record his second five-wicket haul. His spell allowed Pakistan to consistently take wickets, keeping Australia under strain as they were bowled out for 163 in 35 overs.

Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique run riot on Aussie bowlers

Pakistan openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique joined a 137-run opening partnership and took the game completely away from the hosts. On a pitch, where the Aussies were bowled out for 163 runs, PAK openers single-handedly ensured that their team would get the big win.

Saim Ayub missed the chance to score a hundred as he got out on 82 runs off 71 balls but ensured his team would cross the line. Babar Azam then joined Shafique and ensured that his team win the match by 9 wickets.
