The five-match T20I series between India and South Africa has seen the hosts come back very well to reduce the deficit and make the series 2-1 after their last match. Team India, captained by Rishabh Pant, will once again hit the ground in a do-or-die match, the fourth, as they look to equalise the series and take it decider.
This time around, the South African team might face the challenge of rain. According to the Meteorological Department, it rained recently in Rajkot. Hence, there is a possibility of storms and rain during the match as well.
Will dark clouds prevail?
According to Weather.com, the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot will have dark clouds on Friday, the day of the match, and there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in the evening. Humidity will be 77 percent and the wind will move at a speed of 15 to 25 kmph. This also casts dark clouds over skipper Pant's hopes of bringing the series level.
Do-or-Die situation for India
Talking about the series, India suffered a major setback before the series kick-off when stand-in skipper KL Rahul was ruled out after an injury. Due to this, Pant was made the captain for the first time, facing defeat in the first two matches. In the third match, India retaliated by defeating South Africa.
Pant would like to win his first series as India captain but if India loses in the fourth T20I, then the series hopes will be done.
