In the Ranji Trophy plate group final, Goa is playing against Nagaland. However, legendary Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar would have been disappointed as he was left warming the bench and had no spot in Goa's playing XI. Arjun is Goa's third-highest wicket-taker with 16 wickets in 4 games. However, the bowling all-rounder was left out of the starting lineup.
Although Arjun had trouble with white-ball cricket, he did well in the Ranji Trophy. Arjun was first dropped off the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy team by Goa. He was later dropped from the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well. Arjun's 2024–2025 domestic season ended early, but he appeared to be on track to play in the plate group Ranji Trophy final. In the IPL 2025, Arjun hopes to get regular opportunities for the Mumbai Indians.

Arjun rejoins MI
In the IPL 2025 mega-auction, Arjun Tendulkar returned to the Mumbai Indians (MI) for Rs 30 lakh. The 25-year-old began his career with the team as a net bowler. In the same capacity, he went to the UAE for the 2020 Indian Premier League.
In 2021, MI gave Arjun his first IPL contract, paying Rs 20 lakh to sign him at the mini-auction. Three bids were placed on Arjun in the IPL 2022 mega-auction. He got Rs 30 lakh from MI. One bid was made for him by the Gujarat Titans.
The left-arm pacer, who has taken three wickets for MI in five games, was released by MI prior to the IPL 2025 mega auction and re-signed for Rs 30 lakh. In terms of domestic cricket, Arjun will next play for Goa in the 2025–26 season, after which the players will begin preparing for the IPL 2025.
