The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that they are looking for a spin bowling coach at the Centre Of Excellence in Bengaluru (NCA). The Indian cricket board said that this role will be integral to the development and performance enhancement of India's spin bowling talent across all formats and in all age groups, including India Senior Teams (Men & Women), India A, U-23, U-19, U-16, and U-15 squads and State association players training at the Centre Of Excellence.
The new coach will replace Sairaj Bahutule, who resigned earlier this year to join the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR). The selected candidate will report to VVS Laxman, Head, Cricket at COE.
The last date for the submission of the applications will be 5 pm on April 10, 2025. BCCI also mentioned that the spin bowling coach will work closely with the Head of Cricket at the Centre of Excellence to design and deliver specialised coaching programs and assist in monitoring the performance of the talent.

"The Spin Bowling Coach will work closely with the Head Cricket, BCCI COE, to design and deliver specialized coaching programs and assist in performance monitoring. The role also involves working closely with Selectors, National and State Coaches, Performance Analysts, and Strength & Conditioning experts to develop high-performance training plans" BCCI added.
Who can apply for this role?
The BCCI mentioned that the applicant for this post most be a former India cricketer or former Indian first class cricket who featured in at least 75 first-class matches and holds a great track record of coaching for a minimum 3 years in the last 7 with a High-Performance Centre/International/India A/India U-19/India Women/IPL team.
